What is Lactoferrin?

A protein naturally present in human and cow's milk, as well as other bodily fluids such as saliva, tears, mucus, and bile.

The rate of protein synthesis declines with age. Hence, lactoferrin supplementation is needed to help heighten immune response.

Bovine lactoferrin derived from cow’s milk has similar structure as human lactoferrin which exhibits immune functions. The role of lactoferrin in the immune response is well researched.

Colostrum “The First Milk”

Colostrum is the first milk produced after a baby is born. It contains about 7x more lactoferrin than is found in milk produced later on.
