Although lactoferrin is produced by the human body itself (human lactoferrin), but the rate of synthesis declines with age. Hence lactoferrin supplementation is needed to help heighten immune response. Bovine lactoferrin derived from cow's milk works the same as human lactoferrin, which exhibits immune functions.
Bovine lactoferrin has been sold as a nutraceutical product for many years. Producing just 0.1g of lactoferrin requires 1 liter of milk and hence the ingredient is scarce and expensive, leading to production being monopolized by several developed countries. Furthermore, the safety of bovine lactoferrin has been approved by the United States Food and Drug Administration (U.S. FDA) as a Generally Recognized as Safe (GRAS) compound and by the European Food Safety Authority (EFSA) as a dietary supplement.

Direction of Use:
For adults. Take 1 capsule daily.
For children below 12 years old, take half capsule daily. You may open the capsule and mix with food or drinks.
